Terms & Conditions

Please read the below information before submitting an enquiry.

RATES

Rates are dependent on the listing price of each item.

What YOU will receive:

65% for items priced under $999
75% for items priced over $1,000
80% for items priced over $3,000
85% for items priced over $5,000

If an item is priced under $100, our fee will be $35 flat

HOW WE PRICE THE ITEMS

Our pricing is based on thorough market research, item condition, and recent trends. We set competitive prices that maximise value while remaining realistic to ensure the item sells.

We do not negotiate listing prices on items valued below $1,000.

For higher-value items $1,000+, we're open to negotiating the listing price. If you have a pricing requirement, please notify us at the time of your booking to determine if we are on the same page.

How we list the items

There may be a waiting period depending on current bookings. Your items will be uploaded progressively over multiple weeks until they are all listed.

We will send you a courtesy message with listing prices for your items before the Wednesday night edit.

If the item remains unsold, we can reduce the price (approved by you) during our price reduction sale (every 6-8 weeks).

Unsold items can be collected, or we can post back at your expense.

Authentication Fees

All items must be authentic. Please include a receipt, dust bag, box and authenticity card for accessories if possible.

If you cannot provide an original receipt with your information on it, we will authenticate each handbag with Entrupy, and all other accessories with Luxury Authentication Australia.

Applicable fees:

- Handbags and accessories $40
- Chanel handbags $50
- Hermès standard handbags $80
- Hermès premium handbags $150
- Some high end clothing items (e.g. Chanel, Hermès) $40

The authentication fee will be deducted from the next payment made to you. Hermès Premium authentications will require upfront payment.

Please note If you have an authenticity certificate from another provider, we will still process our own authentications and fees will apply.

conditions of acceptance

Only consign items that you are committed to selling. If you decide to keep an item after we have created the listing, this is very disruptive. If you are undecided about whether to sell it, please do not consign it. Any items you consign with Green Wardrobe should not be listed by you on another platform whilst in our possession.

The clothing items must be in excellent condition. Please inspect your items in natural lighting, check them thoroughly and disclose any flaws or alterations. Please have your items dry-cleaned before your booking.

If we receive items that are not as described, they will be excluded, and you will need to collect them or have them shipped back at your expense.

Pay extra close attention to the following areas:
Inside and outside of neckline, inside crotch on pants, shorts and jumpsuits, under the armpits, hemline, zipper, buttons, care labels and odours.

Please note the Consignor accepts the risk of delivery of goods to Green Wardrobe. The Consignor covers postage and insurance costs both ways.

A brand may be eligible, but it does not mean we take every item from that brand. Please do not be offended if we do not select some/any of your pieces.

Payments to sellers

Payments are made weekly on Tuesdays via bank transfer, and you will receive a remittance advice to your email advising what has sold. You can request a summary of your sales at any time to see the breakdown and detail of this information.
